The title of this piece came about because we were recording in Abbey Road No.3 studios - newly refurbished and acoustically designed for Jazz. Neil wilkinson's drum sound demonstrates how good the acoustic is in the main studio room. Steve was in a separate 'bright' room particularly well suited to trumpet and Laurence and I were standing in the same room as the drums but of course our amps were kept in isolation areas so that each instrument could be recorded cleanly without spill from the others. i have to apologise again because I'm speaking about recording techniques - sorry!
